Picture-Perf Fencing and Gates by Zaun; in collaboration with Graepals, is changing the way we think about decorative fencing. Manufactured from either Aluminium or Stainless Steel at heights of 2.0, 2.4, 3.0, and 4.0m if offers clients and specifiers increased safety and visual impact compared to standard laser cut fencing systems, thanks to the revolutionary perforation process.

With perforations no larger than 8mm across the whole system it prevents any areas for finger traps and with the innovative fixing system, the striking appearance of the posts removes any gaps between panels and posts.

Zaun can offer two types of perforated fencing and gate options:

• Picture-Perf which is perfect for a true photo realistic rendering of any photograph onto a fence or gate
• Pattern-Perf which is perfect for a vector rendering of images, symbols and logos

Zaun‘s BowTop Playground Railings are an attractive system often used around play areas. Zaun’s BowTop Playground Fencing is manufactured to RoSPA guidelines and BS 1722 part 9 compliant to make it as safe as possible.

The nature of the BowTop playground railings system means that parents have an unhindered view of their children in the play area, and the system itself means that children can play safely. All of the bars and ‘bows’ are spaced to minimise the chance of wrist or neck trap occurring.

The vertical bars are tough for children to climb and help ensure they stay in the play area.

Available in standard panels from stock or bespoke panels can be manufactured to non-standard length and raked and radiused to suit individual requirements.

Available in two heights, 1.0m and 1.2m. Each railing is supplied with panels, posts, stepping cleats and security fixings. Supplied hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and optional Polyester Powder Coated.

Matching Bow Top gate or slow-closing safety gate also available.

Zaun’s KinderGate Self Closing Gate is manufactured to comply with BS EN 1176 for playground equipment, making it free from finger traps, crush points and shear actions that could cause injury.

The KinderGate playground gate has an invisible, built-in hydraulic gate closer that is completely built into the gate frame, providing a fully shielded gate closer that prevents vandalism. In addition, the aesthetic closing system both opens and closes the gate comfortably and features an adjustable closing speed to comply with RoSPA guidelines.

This self-closing mechanism makes the KinderGate Self Closing Gate virtually impossible to slam shut and stops the gate from bouncing back off the post when pushed hard.

An anti-trap mechanism ensures the self-closing gate and cannot swing beyond its stop point.

Available 1000mm or 1200mm high and supplied in yellow (RAL1021) or red (RAL3000) as standard (other colours are available upon request) to highlight the exit point on a playground.

The KinderGate is ideal for use around the playground, recreation areas, parks and schools.

Zaun’s post caps are designed and manufactured specifically for use with our range of fence posts. Post caps are designed to fit onto the top of our posts and are used to stop water and moisture from going inside the fence post, reducing the risk of rust and water damage.

Available in a range of RAL colours to match the fence line. Designed for our fencing systems including Duo 6, Duo 8, Duo Sports, Tennis, Hockey and more…

These embossed post caps give protection to the post and add a stylish feel to the fence line. Supplied as standard on most posts up to 3 meters high.

Integrated Floodlight Posts from Zaun are a great way to save vital pennies on almost any job. Instead of paying for additional civils for additional posts, they could easily be integrated within the fence line or MUGA. In addition, floodlight posts can be manufactured for intermediate or corner posts to fit in with the fence line seamlessly.

Floodlight posts installed along the fence line are a great way to save space in and around a sports pitch, court or MUGA. Thus, enabling your play area to be used during the day and at night when visibility is more difficult.

Available in almost any RAL colour, Zaun’s integrated floodlight posts are aesthetically pleasing and further enhance the sports area’s professional feel for spectators and players.

Each post features access hatches for easy access to the cables and wires and can be designed with brackets to hold floodlights from most leading manufacturers.

Designed to fit our range of sports fencing, including; Duo Sports, Super Rebound, Advantage Tennis and Hockey Fencing.

Zaun’s Fence Safety Channel or Capping Strip is also known to be used on low-level fencing to protect people from the sharp edges of the welded mesh panels. For example, our safety channel is usually used on our range Duo Sports & Spectator Railing fencing around pitches courts, and MUGAs commonly have fencing around 1m in height.

Supplied in lengths of 2.5m (the same width of a standard panel), the safety channel edging strip is easily applied to the edge of the fencing.

Available in colours that match the fence, the fence safety channel is attractive and aesthetically pleasing.

Zaun’s research and development team have designed a further enhancement to our MUGA and sports fencing offering by providing an attractive curved corner for MUGAs. The radius corner section is curved in shape to provide a MUGA or sports pitch with a corner section that returns the ball in a more natural rebound than a sharp corner edge. Upgrading the corners of your sports pitch or MUGA to a radius corner option is ideal for contact sports as it provides safer play.

The curved section is designed to be seamlessly installed with our standard sports fencing systems, including Duo Sports or Super Rebound.

Sports pitch divider netting or curtain nets are used to divide large sports pitches and courts into smaller sections for multi-game use, ideal for splitting a full-size football pitch into three or four 5-a-side pitches, for example, increasing the pitch usage and increasing gameplay.

The divider nets can be slid along the tensioned wire like a curtain to divide the sports pitch. Each system is usually 3m high and available in 25m, 30m, 50m and 70m lengths. The durable high tenacity polypropylene divider netting is fixed to support cables, supported by the posts with steel hooks and a winch. In addition, intermediate support posts are supplied to support the staining cable further.

Each system includes posts, winch & pulleys, tension wire, divider net and clips.

Divider net can be used with Zaun‘s range of sport fencing systems, Duo Sports, Super Rebound & Tennis, where divider netting can be designed as part of the perimeter of the sports pitch.

Zaun’s roof netting is ideal for use above MUGA’s (Multi-Use Games Areas)that require ball retention, such as a rooftop MUGA, or for pitches or courts in areas where balls leave the could cause problems for the surrounding area.

The netting roof can be fitted directly to the top of the steel fencing or can be supplied with netting vertical sides above the steel fence to increase the height of the roof.

The netting is attached to tensioned cables running across the court. The cables require carefully designed posts as the loads imposed can be very high. With some basic details of your site, size and height, Zaun can calculate the tension required in cables and posts sizes and quickly tell you if the scheme is feasible. In addition, we can let you know how much sag to expect.

We will design for maximum longevity, where the court layout allows we will reinforce the netting where it contacts the net. This will increase the life of the netting. In addition, the cables will be plastic coated to reduce damage to the net from rubbing with the wires. The knotless netting is hard wearing and has a breaking strain of approximately 125kg (3mm) per mesh but is still soft to the touch.

Suitable for various sports and applications, including schools, leisure centres and professional sports pitches and courts.

Roof netting is ideal to be used to complement our range of sports fencing products, including Duo Sports, Super Rebound & Tennis, which enhance the sports pitch and completes a full ball retention pitch or court.

Our Holland Goal Fence Goal system has been developed to be installed onto sports fences where space is restricted, or a recess is impossible. These goals maximise ball retention and enable the playing area to be easily used for different sports. Each fence goal is fully customisable to any size and colour and is ideal for sports target practice. The Holland goal provides a simple and easy solution to any MUGA or playground restricted by space but still wants to maintain a play area.

Finish

All Zaun posts/panels/gates and painted auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.) benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS1722 p16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and paint layers. In a UK C1 environment, as defined in ISO 12944 p2, this should ensure a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to reduce the effect on useful life.

Enhanced painting systems such as marine coatings are also available for improved life expectancy in C2-C5M environments.
