Zaun<\/a>\u00a0Super Rebound Fencing was developed to replace traditional wooden boards and further developed the Duo Sports twin wire fencing range. The Super Rebound Fencing system is designed for high sports usage or where the sport is taken seriously. This rebound fencing system is ideal for use in\u00a0MUGAs<\/a>,\u00a0schools<\/a>, parks, and other\u00a0sports pitches<\/a>\u00a0that are likely to obtain high impacts from\u00a0footballs<\/a>,\u00a0basketballs<\/a>,\u00a0tennis balls<\/a>,\u00a0hockey balls<\/a>, etc. Designed to feature a high density of double wires to absorb the shock of balls and return them into play without interruption.<\/p>\n

Super Rebound fencing has been developed to offer a more attractive, practical and community-friendly alternative to standard wooden or plywood rebound boards. The Super Rebound 8 fencing system uses twin horizontal 8mm wires<\/a>, and the Rebound 6 system uses twin horizontal 6mm wires. The lower 1.2 metres of the fence has a 50mm x 66.6mm mesh pattern. This robust rebound mesh acts as a wooden rebound board in terms of quality but has many advantages over wooden boards.<\/p>\n

With fixings, every 200mm to the lower, high impact areas of the fencing and\u00a0rubber inserts<\/a>\u00a0at each fixing, rattle is virtually eliminated during play. In addition, clamp bars covering panel ends to ensure a safe playing surface with no sharp edges.<\/p>\n

Available in heights up to 5070mm, it is ideal for sports centres,\u00a0MUGAs<\/a>,\u00a0schools<\/a>, sports grounds, and other sports sites. Super Rebound also conforms to BS 1722-14 for open mesh steel wire mesh panel fencing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Finish<\/h2>\n

All\u00a0Zaun<\/a>\u00a0posts\/panels\/gates and painted auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.) benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester\u00a0powder coating<\/a>\u00a0to BS1722 p16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and paint layers. In a UK C1 environment, as defined in\u00a0ISO 12944 p2<\/a>, this should provide a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to minimise the effect on useful life.<\/p>\n

Posts & Fixings<\/h2>\n

The Super Rebound double wire mesh fencing system features a post,\u00a0EPDM rubber inserts<\/a>\u00a0and clamp bar configuration, providing a simple and easy installation method. Supplied with vandal-proof security fixings and installed using either power or hand tools.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Sloping Ground<\/h2>\n

Panels may be stepped in increments of 30mm as required within the clamp bar system. However, if the gradient exceeds 1:16, it is recommended that the taller panels are either partially buried or additional posts are used.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Variations<\/h2>\n

Posts are available in different lengths to accommodate panel heights and ground conditions. Additional variations are also available: Wall fixing, cranked posts or base plated. Cranked panels. Gates<\/h2>\n

Pedestrian gates are single leaf 1.2m wide (or width to suit), framed in a 50mm x 50mm RHS with Zaun Super Rebound mesh welded inside the frame, with slide latch. Gate supplied with rubber bump stop and 2 x suitable gate posts.<\/p>\n

Vehicle access gates<\/a> are double leaf (single leaf vehicle gates available) 3.0m wide (or width to suit), framed in 50mm x 50mm RHS, with Zaun Super Rebound mesh welded inside the frame, with drop bolts and slide latch. Safety<\/h2>\n

It is recommended that a\u00a0safety channel or capping strip<\/a>\u00a0is applied to protect people from the sharp edges of the mesh for low-level fences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
