Zaun upgraded it under plans proposed by its legendary rugby league side.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiganwarriors.com\">Wigan Warriors<\/a> have entered negotiations with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wigan.gov.uk\/index.aspx\">Wigan Council<\/a> to look at the feasibility of moving the club\u2019s Central Park operations to Robin Park Arena, in the shadow of <a href=\"https:\/\/wiganathletic.com\/\">Wigan Athletic FC<\/a>\u2019s DW Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>It inspires<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspiringhealthylifestyles.org\">\u00a0Healthy Lifestyles<\/a>, which currently runs Robin Park Arena and its associated leisure centre. Therefore, part of the discussions with community groups to improve the health and wellbeing of the borough\u2019s residents.<\/p>\n<p>The plans would see the Warriors turn the arena into a world-class sports and community leisure facility. Take on its lease, saving the council \u00a3241,000 a year in subsidy and maintenance costs.<\/p>\n<p>The council invested \u00a3318,000 in a state-of-the-art pitch at the arena only three years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The all-weather 3G FIFA 2-star pitch, which also meets the International Rugby Board\u2019s standard, is surrounded by 5m high Zaun Limited <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link \" title=\"Duo8\" href=\"\/products\/duo8-twin-wire-fencing\/\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Duo8<\/a> Super Rebound to aid ball retention.<\/p>\n<p>The twin horizontal wire panels are highly durable, low maintenance, \u2018graffiti proof, and offer excellent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zaun.co.uk\/products\/super-rebound-fencing\/\" data-wpil=\"url\">rebound<\/a> properties similar to a wall.
