HiSec Super 6 358 mesh was developed in consultation with the Home Office. Protecting Critical National Infrastructure requires a fencing system that can defend against the latest threats. HiSec Super 6 by Zaun provides maximum protection thanks to its 6mm vertical wires that offer a significant deterrent against any form of attack. It is certified to LPS 1175 A1 (SR1).
The 2518mm panels are overlapped and clamped with a 40 x 5mm flat bar which is fixed with security through bolts, giving a maximum post centre of 2440mm.
The 4mm horizontal wires remain the same as the standard HiSec 358 mesh; however, the vertical wires are at 6mm diameter rather than the standard 4mm. The mesh pattern remains 76.2mm x 12.7mm, providing excellent visibility for use with CCTV cameras and other detection technology.
Supplied with tamper-proof fixings and full-length clamp bars to provide additional security for any intruders trying to break into the fence line. Typically supplied with panels overlapping at the post, but also available in a double-slotted clamp bar version if required.
HiSec Super 6 358 can also be used with a range of fence toppings and integrated solutions to provide a full turnkey high-security solution. Pedestrian and vehicle gates are also available to match the fence line.
Finish
All Zaun posts/panels/gates and painted auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.) benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS1722 p16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and paint layers. In a UK C1 environment, as defined in ISO 12944 p2, this should ensure a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to reduce the effect on useful life.

Posts & Fixings
The HiSec Super 6 perimeter security fencing system features a post and clamp bar configuration, providing a simple and easy installation method. Supplied through bolts, nuts and washers and installed using either power or hand tools.
Note: For CPNI, the maximum change of direction is 45°. A flange is welded at the post at 45°, or a post with two welded flanges at 22.5°.
Sloping Ground
Panels can be stepped as required on the post. However, it is recommended that taller panels are either part-buried or additional posts are used on steeper gradients. Panels can also be sloped to follow lesser gradients.
Variations
Posts are available in different lengths to accommodate panel heights and ground conditions. Additional variations are also available: Wall fixing, cranked posts or base plated, Cranked, V Shape or Top Hat extensions for barbed or razor wire, extended posts for CCTV, or lighting
HiSec Super 6 358 Fence Gates
Pedestrian gates are single leaf 1.2m wide (or width to suit). Framed in a 100mm x 50mm RHS with Zaun HiSec Super 6 mesh bolted to the frame, with slide latch. Each gate features a rubber bump stop and 2 x suitable gate posts.
Vehicle access gates are double leaf (single leaf vehicle gates available) 3.0m wide (or width to suit). Framed in 100mm x 50mm RHS, Zaun HiSec Super 6 bolted to the frame, with drop bolts and slide latch. Each vehicle Gate features a rubber bump stop and 2 x suitable gate posts.

Note: Zaun manufactures 358 from cut to length line wires; the panels are not cropped. They are supplied as standard with short protruding wires on top and bottom. If flush panels are required, this should be requested at the time of enquiry.
